This is a Bord Failte approved property. The Anchorage is apartment complex on the waterfront of Westport Quay directly beside the gates of ‘Westport House Country Estate and Childrens’ Zoo’ and adjoining the renowned ‘Quay Cottage Seafood Restaurant’. It is a Building of quality - finished to a very high level with a cut stone facade, which blends in very well with the other buildings in the area.

Many fine restaurants and pubs are but a stroll away. The Quay Cottage is next door and the Asgard and Ardmore House are very close by as are well known pubs such as The Helm, The Towers and The Quays. One also has the advantage of a very large convenience store, again a short stroll away, which stays open until 9.pm at night.

The Building itself is equipped with a lift and there is off-street parking provided. Directly across the road from the apartments there is an open green space where one can relax beside the sea shore.

All comprises of two bedrooms, there are two types
of layout, one has 1 double room and one twin room.
The other 1 double and 1 single room. The apartments therefore sleep four people. Linen is provided with duvets, towels are also provided free of charge. A child’s cot and high chair are available on request. No linen is supplied for the child’s cot.

Kitchen facilities include fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher, microwave, automatic washing machine and dryer and iron and ironing board. You will also find sufficient crockery, cutlery and cookware for your use.
The apartment also offers electrical central heating plus a colour T.V. and video with all channels. No pets allowed.

Directions from the Octagon, Westport
Take the Coast Road from The Octagan, Westport. Driving out of town, you will see ‘McCarthy’s’ pub on your right hand side and ‘Ring’s Auctioneer’s’ on your left. As you reach the top of the hill (Quay Hill) there is a high stone wall, approximately eight feet in height, on your right. Follow this wall out to The Quay, a distance in excess of half a mile, you will see ‘Centra Supermarket’ on your left hand side, continuing past ‘Centra’ following the bend in the road, the road starts its descent towards The Quay, you will approach a ‘T’ junction, take the right turn and you will find yourself immediately in front of The Anchorage Complex, facing the gates of Westport House and right beside The Quay Cottage.
Parking is to the rear of the building.
